HUGO B. J. SODER
INVENTOR

Born in 1956 in Lausanne, Switzerland. After classical studies in history, literature and oriental philosophies, he specializes in experimental psychology. Graduate in neuro-pedagogy, he studies the application of altered states of consciousness to relaxation and prophylaxis of stress and psychosomatic disorders.

In 1981, he defines the principles of psychosensory stimulation. In 1983 he creates his own company for manufacturing psychotechnical devices. He invents the relaxation shuttles CHALLENGER and then RELAXMAN. Since 1991, he collaborates as consultant with Biotonus Clinic Bon Port in Montreux, Switzerland.

President of the Swiss Association for Humanistic Psychology and co-founder of the Institute of Holistic Medicine, he is also member of the comittee of Swiss Biofeedback Society. Since ten years he participates with the American Institute of Stress of New York to the organization of the International Montreux Congress on Stress.

In February 1999, his researches are rewarded by a diploma of honor awarded by the Russian Medical Academy of Science. In June 1999 he is honoured as an active member of the International Academy of Sciences and the International Council of Scientific Development.
